This is our standard IELTS online course, which has produced excellent results over the years. It is a well-paced and effective course, available as very small group classes.
Approximate duration: 6 – 8 Weeks.
This course is ideal for those who wish to start IELTS studies from a basic level, in order to improve their aptitude in English grammar, vocabulary, and speaking, while learning and practicing the skills required for the IELTS test. This is an IELTS online course, conducted as small group classes in which the reading, writing, listening, and speaking components will be covered.
Approximate duration: 4 Months.

The Academic format is relevant for those who want to study overseas and for those who require Academic test results for registration purposes with a professional body in an overseas country.
The General Training format is recommended for migration to a Commonwealth nation, work overseas or to attend foreign training programs.
Online booking is the easiest and most used method nowadays. You may personally call over at the test venues and register as well. Having a valid passport is absolutely essential for the IELTS test registration.
Cancellations and postponements are possible subject to certain centre-specific conditions, you will receive a refund minus an administration fee.
The Listening, Reading and Writing components of the test will be completed immediately after each other and with no break. You may take the Speaking test up to 7 days either before or after the test date, depending on the test centre. For Computer-based IELTS, the speaking test is usually done on the same day.
Test rules and guidelines can be found on the 'Notice to Candidates' section provided in the IELTS Application. You are earnestly advised to read the 'Information for Candidates' booklet carefully so that you understand the test format and know what to expect on the test day.
Only pens, pencils and erasers are permitted.
You will need to bring along and show the same passport which you have included in your IELTS Application Form on the test day. You will have to leave everything else outside the examination hall.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices such as smart watches must be switched off and should be kept with your personal belongings in the area designated by the supervisor. If you do not switch off your phone or electronic device and keep it with you, you will be disqualified from the test.
The Speaking test is a discussion over 12-15 minutes with a certified and trained IELTS Examiner. The Speaking test is made up of three sections. It will be recorded on an audio cassette or a digital recorder.

You will need to bring and show the same passport which you have included in your IELTS Application Form and continue to use the same identity document for each part of the test. Your identity will be checked before and after you enter the interview room.
Since IELTS is an international test and valid throughout the Commonwealth and beyond, many English accents including British, North American, Australian or NZ accents may be used.
Yes, you may write in all capital letters in the IELTS Reading and Listening components and also in the Writing component. Our experienced teachers will ensure that you are fully prepared for these components of the examination when you follow one of our IELTS courses.
IELTS uses a 9-band scoring system. You will receive individual band scores for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, and an Overall Band Score on a band scale from one to nine.
At CCPD, we carry out practice tests for our students who are following any of the IELTS online courses, where you will be able to assess your expected scores for your upcoming exams.
You need to write in pencil for the Listening and Reading tests. In the Writing test, either a pen or pencil can be used.

There is no pass or fail in IELTS testing. Scores are graded on the 9-band-score system. It is important that you participate in the mock exams and practice tests done during the IELTS online course conducted by us, so that you are better prepared for the final examination.
You may apply for a re-scrutiny, at your test centre within six weeks of the test date. You must pay a re-scrutiny fee, which will be fully refunded if your band score changes.
In the paper-based IELTS test, your test result will be available to you 13 calendar days after your test date. In the case of Computer-based IELTS, results will be made available within 5 days.
There is no time limit or restrictions on re-sitting for the IELTS test.
